What has changed to the predecessor-model?
That adapters II material is now plastic and is even slimmer, fits better, and more solidly.

Why plastic?
One of the reasons why I stopped at the end of 2002 with the adapter-construction was that the consisted adapters 1 was a "time-eater" if I maked one.
The reason for the much more building time was that the material of the old adapter 1 was metal. Metal needed an additional isolation against energy short circuid.
Voltage energy can not flow through Plastic.
That the reason why I use plastic material.

Is the 9th Cell Adapter II produced
by machines ?
No ! I build each adapter in handmade.

Who is Joseph Wolfsberg ?
I am a professional photographer. I use the Nikon F5 since many years. For me was from the first day with my Nikon F5 the high energy consumption of this camera disappointing. Because of this, I build in the year 2001 for me a clamp, which it enabled to hold a ninth accu-cell in combination with the ordinary battery holder of the Nikon F5.
The 9th cell idea was born.
