Nikon cannot do magic.
Ni-MH rechargeable batteries remain the same in the whole world.
The content of the Nikon accu-pack is just normal rechargeable Ni-MH batteries cells. These are compactly installed under a plastic cover. However, there are not 8 but 9 Ni-MH rechargeable batteries !
This is the trick!
This way the rechargeable batteries get an enormous strength.
What?
Is enough space in the bottom of the F5 body for 9 rechargeable battery cells?
Yes it is!
The space is allready available in each F5.
Without this "built-in space " in each F5 , no one could use the original Nikon accu-pack in a F5.
REMARK: The technical standard of the Nikon accu-pack is from 1996 !!!
Nikon today sells the same accu-pack as in 1996 .

 

Therefore,each cell of the Nikon accu-pack has max. 1100 mAh.
Compare:
Modern Ni-MH rechargeable batteries have 1650 mAh. Knowing this ,we developed a cheaper and more powerful solution.
Our ADAPTER was born.
It makes it possible to use normal rechargeable batteries in the F5 , however 9 of the best and most powerful rechargeable batteries of our time .
The performance of rechargeable batteries rises every year.
With our ADAPTER it is possible, to use the strongest rechargeable batteries for the F5 .
It increases the quantity of possible film-rolls which you can expose.
And our solution costs a fraction of the price of the Nikon accu-pack !!!
